Exposure to Strategic Materials Through a Different Development Model

CoTec offers investors exposure to rare earth magnets, iron and copper through a portfolio that combines technology, recycling, resource recovery and brownfield development.

The Company’s strategy is designed around finding situations where differentiated technology or existing infrastructure can create an advantage over conventional greenfield mine development.

Current areas of focus include:

Rare Earth Magnets
HyProMag USA is progressing a domestic U.S. rare earth magnet recycling and manufacturing platform, with initial magnet-finishing capability targeted ahead of integrated recycling operations.

High-Purity Iron
The Lac Jeannine Project is advancing through feasibility following an updated 2026 PEA and successful production of greater than 67% FeT concentrate.

U.S. Iron and Steelmaking Materials
MagIron owns substantial existing processing infrastructure and is evaluating production of DR-grade pellets and merchant pig iron.

Mineral Recovery
CoTec is advancing commercial deployment of Multi-Gravity Separator technology to recover ultra-fine mineral particles from operating and historical tailings.

Copper
CoTec is building its copper exposure through Ceibo, CoTec Copper and its recently established DRC copper-tailings joint venture.

CoTec trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under CTH and the OTCQX Best Market under CTHCF.

Why Invest

Technology with a Route to Deployment

CoTec focuses on technologies that can be paired with identifiable resources, feedstocks and commercial applications rather than technology development in isolation.

Strategic Materials

The portfolio provides exposure to rare earth magnets, high-purity iron, steelmaking feedstocks and copper — materials increasingly important to industrial, energy and supply-chain security.

Waste as a Resource

A significant portion of CoTec's strategy is focused on recovering value from mine tailings, industrial waste and recycled products rather than relying solely on new greenfield extraction.

Brownfield Advantage

Existing resources, buildings, processing facilities and infrastructure can provide opportunities to shorten development pathways and reduce the amount of new infrastructure required.

Multiple Paths to Scale

HyProMag USA, mineral recovery and CoTec Copper have been structured as platforms capable of expanding into additional facilities or assets if initial deployments are successful.

Experienced Leadership

CoTec's management and Board bring extensive experience across mining operations, project development, technology, capital markets, investment and corporate transactions.

Alignment

Management and directors maintain meaningful ownership in CoTec. Current ownership information should be referenced to the Company's latest public filings rather than embedded as a fixed percentage on this page.
